‘Art that aims not at reproducing what is already visible, but rather that which seeks to make visible’ – this is what I wish to create and share.

Lately, I have been painting with only three colors – blue, yellow and red. They have something to say to each other and I do my best to listen. Each painting is a record of a conversation. An artwork is complete when each color has said its piece.

When I paint a sunrise, I endeavor to offer not merely a physical picture but also an inner experience of a sunrise. In the same way, I paint a plant with the hope of inspiring a sense of growth and blossoming within one’s own being.

My recent artworks are like landscapes, but they do not exist for the outer senses alone. These ‘soulscapes’ are meant to be experienced through our inner life of feeling too.
